Centenary will be bringing Paula Hawkins incredible thriller 'The Girl on the Train' to the Brindley Theatre next September.
The play, based on the world wide bestselling novel and DreamWorks film in 2016, first arrived on the stage in 2018 to critical acclaim, and has gone on to prove a hit with audiences everywhere. This psychological thriller gives narratives from three different women about relationship troubles (caused by coercive/controlling men) and, for the main protagonist, alcoholism.
Watson longs for a different life. Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day, happy and in love. Or so it appears. When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated.
The Girl on the Train will be performing in the Brindley Theatre Studio, Runcorn, from Wednesday 11th - Saturday 14th September 2024.
